Awesome night’s sleep – 5 star review
June 7, 2011
Pros: Good for side sleepers, Great value, Good for back sleepers, High quality, Good for stomach sleepers, Supportive

Best night’s sleep in a long long time… Back problems are much better.. no more sore shoulder… what a difference a good mattress makes. This mattress is a little firmer than I expected, but it is PERFECT! I used to toss and turn all night… now I wake in the morning many times in same position I fell asleep…. and don’t wake 5-6 times a night.

Pros:
• Good for side sleepers
• Good for back sleepers
• Good for stomach sleepers
• Great value
• Supportive
• High Quality

Cons:
• None

Sleep Options Firm Memory Foam Mattress: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Great mattress, no complaints! – 4 star review
June 7, 2011
Pros: Good for side sleepers, Great value, Good for back sleepers, Supportive
This mattress has been great, I have scoliosis and a lot of back pain, but I needed an affordable mattress. I’ve been sleeping on it for a month now and love it! The only time I have some back pain is when I sleep on my stomach, but it’s still less pain than I used to have. I needed something firm and I was worried that having a mattress that was completely foam could be soft and unsupportive but this one is really nice and firm while still letting you sink into the foam and getting really comfy. It really is an awesome mattress, especially for the great price.

My husband moves a lot while he sleeps and I’m a light sleeper, so I always loose sleep because of that. We have been looking for a mattress for a very long time. We like tempurpedic but it is too expensive. The moment we tried on this mattress, we love it and the price is excellent! Highly recommend this product.

Pros:
• Good for side sleepers
• Good for back sleepers
• Good for stomach sleepers
• Great value
• Supportive
• High Quality

Cons:
• Firmer than expected

Sleep Options Plush Latex Foam Mattress – 5 out of 5 stars

Great Buy – 5 star review
May 26, 2011
Pros: Good for side sleepers, Good for back sleepers, High quality, Supportive
This mattress is the best one in my house. It sits up high which I love. It sleep really well, which is a plus. Its has a little firmness to it, however you can still feel the soft touch it have. When you lay on the Mattress instead of saying “Calgon take me away” you would simply say “bed cuddle me and stay”.

Sleep Options Plush Memory Foam Mattress – 4.5 out of 5 stars

WOW!! Sleep Finally !! – 5 star review
March 18, 2011
Pros: Good for side sleepers, Great value, Good for back sleepers, High quality, Supportive
I had extensive back surgery following a car accident in 2001, at that time it was recommended that I get a firm mattress to support my back. I currently Have a 10 year old top of the line Serta Perfect Sleeper. I’m used to back pain and wake up about every 2-3 hours to reposition. In the past 6 months I have been waking up with severe shoulder and hip pain also. I began reading articles and reviews of the available mattresses. My in-laws have a sleep number bed that they “like”, so I tried it out a couple times for hours at a time, but I always ffelt like I needed to re-adjust the air firmness every time I repositioned. I went to Sleepy’s because they had the largest selection of different mattresses. Ron C. was great. He listened and we came to the same conclusion…something with memory foam. I tried several Tempur pedic models and really liked the Cloud series…but the price was too much. I tried the Sleep Options Plush. WOW!! It was comparable in feel and comfort to the mid price Cloud, but at about 60% cost savings. This has been the best bed I have ever slept in. I finally get a restful night sleep!! I have already recommended this mattress to friends and co-workers,

  1. I just received my Sleep Options mattress last week. Although this is the best sleep I ever had, the mattress has a very peculiar smell (sort of chemical). I went back to the Sleepys showroom and complained and was told that this is normal and that the smell would go away over a short time. I have read all of the above reviews but noted that the subject of a strange smell has never come up. I am very concerned about whether this is some sort of chemical that can hurt me.

  2. Sherryl,

Thank you so much for contacting us with your concerns. One thing you may notice about your Sleep Options mattress is that they typically have an mild odor or residual scent, distinct to the product when new. This is sometimes heightened when delivered during cold weather. The synthetic scent on most new vacuum packed mattresses seems to be pretty standard for all the various brands and styles of foam mattresses.
Some consumers are simply very attuned and sensitive to odor – any odor – and we understand it might be irritating to some. It is in no way harmful or unhealthy. It will quickly dissipate as the mattress is used and “massaged” during daily usage, which allows the open cells to expel the “processing” air and take in new air – making the odor disappear.

If you are particularly sensitive to the odor, it will be helpful to leave the product uncovered during the first few days, allowing the air in the your home to circulate around the product. Additionally, you may spray the mattress with Febreze (a water soluble freshener) and air out the room so the mattress odor can dissipate quickly. Turn on fans and open windows to circulate the air in the room. You may also have some success with adding an additional layer or two of sheets until the scent finally dissipates.

Please let us know if this has helped you! Feel free to leave any other questions below.

    Thanks again!

  3. I’m waiting for my memory foam 11″ ovations sleep options mattress. My concern is that I sleep hot and have heard that foam mattresses can be warm. Any feedback would be helpful.

    • Memory foam mattresses may seem warmer for some than others. If you are a warm sleeper, try placing 100% cotton sheets and covers on top of the mattress, as these can absorb moisture and heat. You can also lower the temperature in the room at night if you find that you are still warm. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
